Big blunder in big D!

It took all of one half to find a major flaw in the brand spankin' new 1.2 billion dollar brainchild of Jerry Jones...

Backup punter A.J Trapasso managed to nail the brand new HD screen above the field while attempting a punt during a preseason game...

While Jerry claims that it was intentionally done, the fact that the largest HD screen in the world managed to become involved in the play shows that it was horribly placed in an otherwise perfect stadium...

While I agree that the motive to place a screen over the field is genius, more could have been done in measurement to at least place it a few more feet above the playing field...

While Dallas punter Mat McBriar claims it is not a distraction, he must fail to realize that when he himself punts it he goes towards the sidelines...if one is punting down the center, the board may become a factor..

For the time being, the rule will be that any punt that strikes the big board will be a do-over. This ruling is only effective until the 2010 season...the year where Dallas is hosting the Super Bowl...

Can you imagine the championship being decided on a punt that hits a scoreboard???

Perhaps they can take the money they make off of those $90 pizzas in the luxury suites and use it to move the scoreboard a bit higher next season..

Just remember Dallas fans, it's gonna take more than a beautiful facility to win yourselves some football games!
