JA's G-Men Wrap-Up....Lawrence goes "Prime Tynes" in Big D!

One Kick sent a sold out Dallas crowd of 105, 121 home in disappointment....

Despite missing a 29 yarder, Lawrence Tynes managed to put his 4th Field Goal, a 37 yarder, through the uprights as time expired to cap a 33-31 G-Men victory in Big D on Sunday Night.

If he didn't prove it to the world during Super Bowl 42, Eli Manning is starting to establish himself as one of the clutch leaders of the National Football League after, once again, leading his team down the field in the final two minutes of the game.

Any questions about how the Wide Receiving corps would fare this season are beginning to be answered with the play of Steve Smith and Mario Manningham...Smith, once again came through with 10 catches and 134 yards receiving...including a TD reception from Eli in the 4th quarter...Mario Manningham may have very well had his coming out party with 10 catches of his own and 150 yards receiving and a TD to boot...These two are making one hell of a 1-2 punch so far this season...

The running game, once again failed to show up with Jacobs only getting 58 yards on the ground...The Red Zone offense also failed in their second straight game to punch it into the end zone going 0-5....As good as the receiving has looked...it's only a matter of time before the G-Men are going to have to rely on punching the pigskin in on the ground and they have yet to do it...

Although the D showed flashes of dominance with their 3 picks and fumble recovery....they also gave up an inexcusable 251 yards rushing...The duo of Marion Barber and Felix Jones had a field day and each managed a touchdown run...The injury sustained to Justin Tuck, after a bitch play by Flozell Adams, raises a red flag as he is questionable for next week's clash against the Buccaneers...

What really saved the hides of the D was the atrocious play of Tony Romo, who threw for only 127 yds and had 3 of the most brutal interceptions that I have seen in quite some time...was he even looking when he threw those last 2 picks?

Regardless, the G-Men are sitting pretty atop the NFC East at 2-0 and the next 3 weeks are looking like smooth sailing with the Bucs, Chiefs and Raiders on tap...
