Did NY forget how to win already?

Remember this New York sports fans?

This happened just 2 short weeks ago and unless you wear pinstripes.....you don't win games

Now just incase you haven't heard the rediculous statistic that was shown on Sportscenter...it is a sad but true fact that in the first 17 days of the month of November...the World Champion Yankees have won more games (2) than the Giants, Jets, Nets and Knicks combined...(1)

Let's start off with the team that's actually won a game this month...The New York Knicks...

At 1-9, the Knickerbockers are a team that is obviously locked into next year...unfortunately, there is 72 games until next year...

10 games deep, Donnie Walsh is already at a crossroads with his team...the players who already know they won't be back next year are not showing up while Harrington and Lee continues to be the glue that holds this team together....They might as well go full force with the youth movement...Guys like Gallinari, Chandler, Toney Douglas and Jordan Hill have really shown me something and they should be getting more looks than bums like Larry Hughes, Jordan Jeffries and Darko "please don't call me a bust" Milicic...

I can see clearing cap space for 2010, but what if Donnie doesn't get his man? The Knicks will, no question, nab at least 1 big free agent next offseason with all that cap room, but will it be LeBron? Do you really see him leaving from Cleveland and a team on the brink of a championship to a franchise that only watches the playoffs from a TV set?

It won't be a complete failure if they don't nab "The King", but it'll definitely be one hell of a disaster considering the Knicks bagged the last 2 years with hopes to get James..

Knicks fans will surely be crying if the King doesn't come to the Big Apple, but the man shedding the waterworks around these parts lately is Coach Cryin' Ryan of the New York Jets..or is it Titans? I'm not too sure anymore..

After starting the season off 3-0, gang green has actually not looked as bad as their record indicates...As close as these games have been, this team fails to make the big play when it matters and they have gone 1-5 since....

When he is not eating hot dogs or throwing interceptions, Mark Sanchez is writing his postgame press conference on a napkin somewhere...and Rex Ryan has been doing his best Mark Messier impression by crying during the best and worst of times...if he keeps this up, he could go into business filling swimming pools....he'll need something to do during the playoffs...

So will Eli Manning if the Giants can't find a way to win a game...

After cruising to a 5-0 start, the G-Men have faced good team after good team and the flaws in their injured defense began to shine....

It was inexcusable to lose to the Chargers the way they did and their schedule will not be getting easier with the Falcons, Broncos, Cowboys and Eagles coming up..

Lucky for them, the first-place Cowboys are due for their December collapse and the Eagles haven't been able to pull ahead of the pack...unlike the other 3...there's still some hope

And then there's the Nets......

A team that has recently resorted to giving out an extra pair of tickets to their season ticket holders in order to increase fan attendence...it's not working...

The Nets are into full rebuilding mode...while V.C, J.Kidd and RJ have all gone off to greener pastures, Jersey remains in the swamps with the worst start to a season by any team in 8 years...

11 games into the season the Nets have failed to win one game, but they've also been playing with 8 players as half of the roster is reenacting the 2009 Mets season, including All-Star Devin Harris....Once Devin gets back in the fold and mixes it up with Lopez and CDR...a win could be on the horizon...eventually...until then...the Nets will continue to hype the first win of the season as a way of selling tickets...
