That same guy is getting ready to serve the next 2 years of his life in jail...how the mighty have fallen...
Plax began his sentence yesterday..and although I feel the sentencing of 2 years is a bit harsh...he did deserve a sentence of some sort..
By the time he gets out, he will be 34 years old and still have a shot at, once again, giving cornerbacks nightmares on the football field...Until then, he needs to put things into perspective and realize what being a thug cost him...Yes, he was carring a firearm to "defend himself", but at what price? A reputation? Fame and fortune? The same concepts that brought him to that fateful night also brought him down...
Hopefully, this serves as a wake-up call to all of those out there in the league who try to carry their street mentality with them to the professional level...
