Hakeem the dream!

After a disasterous loss to the Tennessee Titans. The G-Men have rebounded to say the least.

After destroying Jay Cutler, many wondered if the 10 sack preformance was a one hit wonder. Questions were answered last Sunday by holding the Texans to 10 points and holding the NFL's leading rusher, Arian Foster to 25 measly yards.

Hakeem Nicks looks like a bonafide superstar in the making. After a 130 yard, 2 TD preformance, Nicks has over 400 receiving yards and is 2nd in the NFL with 6 TD's. By the way, Jacobs has decided to quit acting like a baby and has scored a TD in each of his last 2 games.

Big Blue has the Lions coming to the meadowlands this week. Even though Detroit demolished the Rams last week, the Giants have a good chance to gain ground in the air-tight NFC East.

My prediction? A Barry Cofield "Don't taze me!" dance and a GGGGGGGG Men Victory!

Hey Rex..Time to put up..or Shut Up!

"Were the Miami Heat of Football" - CB Antonio Cromartie

"Were building a dream team" - QB Mark Sanchez

"This team is basically Super Bowl or Bust" - TE Dustin Keller

You hear that, Rex? You've put the bulls eye on your team's back and you've got the team officially drinking the Kool-Aid. I think it's great to have confidence in your abilities as a team. But I just want to let you guys know one thing...

You haven't won anything yet!

Yes, yes, we all know that you came within 30 minutes of a Super Bowl last year. With all this talk, however, one would think that you did.

I give Rex this. He has made the Jets a relevant commodity in the New York Sports scene. Rex Ryan has even made the New York Giants play second fiddle this season in the headlines. Being on Hard Knocks this season has put the Jets on the national stage. If his talk translates into wins and playoff success, there will be a statue of him outside of the New Meadowlands Stadium next season. If he loses, all of his credibility is lost.

There is talent on this team, but is that talent going to beat Peyton Manning and the Colts? How about Tom Brady and the Pats? Are they even going to beat the new look Ravens tonight? Darrelle Revis is FINALLY back and they need him with Calvin Pace being out. However, how game ready is Revis Island going to be? The man has been back for a week and didn't play in a preseason game. Is he going to pull a Michael Strahan or will we see Revis Island tonight? All I know is that Joe Flacco would be crazy not to test the waters.
The biggest X Factor this year though is on the
offensive side of the football and the man under center, Marky Mark Sanchez. For this team to have ANY success this season, Sanchez has to make better decisions throwing the football. 12 TDs and 20 INT won't cut it for a Super Bowl Champion. Will he hit the Sophmore slump? He's got plenty of weapons, especially with the additions of LT and Holmes, but Holmes will surely be missed the 1st 4 games of the season. As good as the D is, you still have to put points on the board.
Will all of these new pieces to the championship puzzle effect the team chemistry? Bringing back FB Tony Richardson, after previously cutting him, was the smartest thing they could've done. For a team that wants leadership, why on earth would you cut your team leader?
They may sit undefeated at the moment, but they're not going 16-0. 10-6 seems realistic to me. Will that be enough to dethrone the Pats and keep back those pesky Dolphins?
If they lose tonight, which I think they will, don't panic Jets fans. This is a good football team, but the time for all this talk has ended. Rex has definitely rallied up his troops, but can they back up the talk? If they can, they will become that great team that they already think they are.

Are you ready for some football?

It's finally here!
Just from overall consensus from friends, I've never seen people so excited about football season starting...and what a way it will begin!
A rematch of last year's NFC Championship game with the Vikings traveling down to the Super Dome to meet the Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints..
My call here? The dome will be rockin' and the Vikes already have Favre getting shots in his ankle. How long is the ageless wonder going to hold up. Oh yea, he's missing his top target Sidney Rice. Who's going to replace him? Javon Walker? Child, please, this guy hasn't been relevent in over 3 years. There's alot of bad blood in this one and the season will be kicked off with a game that's nothing short of physical.
The Saints will be marching in...and over Minny in this one.

JA's Week 10 picks!

The Second Half of the season has commenced and there’s no need to worry about the Giants losing this week…on to the picks…

Falcons @ Panthers

Matt Ryan has struggled the past 3 games and the Carolina running game has brought them back to a little bit of respectability….With that being said, Ryan turns it around this week and the Falcons take one on the road..

JA’s Pick: Falcons

Broncos @ Redskins

After starting out 6-0, Denver has suffered blowout losses the last 2 weeks…What better way to redeem yourself than by playing the dreadful Redskins?

JA’s Pick: Broncos

Bills @ Titans

Chris Johnson vs. the league’s worst rushing D…….Titans go to 3-0 with VY at the helm..

JA’s Pick: Titans

Saints @ Rams

Congrats St. Louis! You’ve won your first game of the season!! What’s your grand prize?? The undefeated Saints….Time for the next losing streak to begin…

JA’s pick: Saints

Bengals @ Steelers

In a battle for the top of the AFC North standings, the Bengals will be looking to take down the defending Super Bowl Champs for the second time this season….However, the Steelers have won 5 straight and scored 27 ppg in those 5 games….I’m taking the Champs and Ochocinco won’t be able to bribe the Steelers with his dolla bills

JA’s Pick: Steelers

Jags @ Jets

Gang Green is coming off their bye after losing 4 of their last 5…On the other side, the Jags are also hanging on to slim playoff hopes with a 4-4 record of their own…This is the game where the Jets miss Kris Jenkins more than any other…Maurice Jones-Drew runs all day…at 4-5, the Jets won’t be in good shape for a potential playoff run

JA’s Pick: Jaguars

Buccaneers @ Dolphins

In a battle of Florida and former Auburn Running Backs, the Bucs look to build upon their first win of the year…A weak running defense will be their downfall, however, as the wildcat roars…

JA’s Pick: Dolphins

Lions @ Vikings

The 7-1 Vikes….The 1-7 Lions….Lions haven’t won in Minnesota in 12 years…enough said

JA’s Pick: Vikings

Chiefs @ Raiders

K.C returns from the bye without running back Larry Johnson, who was 20 yards shy of the Chiefs rushing record until he said what he said…idiot…This matchup features two of the worst teams in the league and in the end, K.C pulls it out and gets their first rushing TD of the year because unlike Oakland, they haven’t been getting destroyed as of late

JA’s Pick: Chiefs

Cowboys @ Packers

Dallas has seen several seasons go down the tube after playing on the frozen tundra…Green Bay’s Super Bowl dreams are also going down the tube after an embarrassing loss to TB…Dallas rolls and will do so til Turkey Day…then the real Tony Romo will show up…

JA’s Pick: Cowboys

Seahawks @ Cardinals

Arizona has been miserable at home this year and this week will be no different…The Seahawks are finally getting healthy and Matt Hasselbeck has weapons aplenty to take apart the Cardinals..UPSET SPECIAL!!

JA’s Pick: Seahawks

Eagles @ Chargers

The Chargers are rolling, and that’s terrible news for Philly…

JA’s Pick: Chargers

Ravens @ Browns

The Ravens have struggled since starting out 3-0…The Browns just struggle to make it through one of Eric Mangini’s practices….

JA’s Pick: Ravens

Pats @ Colts

Both men have gone 83-21 since 2003…both men have 16TD and 5 INT this year…But who’s the better QB? Brady or Manning? Brady’s got the rings so it’d hard to not pick him…It’s also hard to not pick the Pats tonight against a Colts team that has struggled to crack 21 points in the last 3 games…The Colts flaws come out tonight and they say goodbye to their undefeated record…

JA’s Pick: Patriots

JA's Week 8 Picks!

Ahh week 8 is here and we have one of the rare days of the year where all 4 major sports have a game going on…Dirty….
I decided to throw my standings up there with the likes of the analysts of ESPN and this is what we got…

Adam Schefter 74-29
Chris Mortensen 72-31
JA 71-32
Merrill Hoge 71-32
Mark Schlereth 70-33
Mike Golic 67-35
Eric Allen 64-39

I’m just saying…time to time I tend to know what I’m talking about kids…

On to the picks….

Last Week: 9-4

Giants @ Eagles
The G-Men come into this one struggling a bit since they’ve lost 2 straight..The Eagles have been bitten by the injury bug with Westbrook out and DeSean Jackson favoring a bum ankle and barely got by the Skins last week..…Eli is coming off of his worst game of the season and with Super Mario Manningham out, Giants fans should get a heavy dose of Hakeem Nicks today….kick back and grab a beer when he’s out there because this kid’s gonna be special…First place in the NFC East is one the line in this one and the G-Men play big when it counts…Giants take the first NY/Philly clash of the day,,
JA’s Pick: Giants

Dolphins @ Jets
Gang Green’s coming off of a thrashing of the Raiders after 2 crappy weeks of attempting to play football…The Fins’ watched a 21-point lead evaporate into a 46-34 loss to the best team in football….Mark Sanchez manages to grab a bite to eat before this game, but the big challenge for the Jets today will be stopping the awesome running duo of Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown with the league’s 22nd best rushing D…..They’re gonna miss Kris Jenkins in this one…
JA’s pick: Dolphins

Broncos @ Ravens
Both teams are coming off a bye week and with 3 straight losses, the Ravens had a chance to re-evaluate themselves to see if they think they can hack it with the AFC’s best….No better way to prove that than by playing the undefeated Broncos…This game is a toss-up quite frankly, but I’m going with the Broncos D shutting down Joe Flacco today on the road…Denver stays undefeated and the Cinderella story continues another week..
JA’s Pick: Broncos

Texans @ Bills
Both teams are coming in with a 2-game winning streak, but the Bills are the beneficiaries of the Jets and Panthers not showing up to play…The NFL’s leading passer, Matt Schaub is going to unleash an air-show in Buffalo today and establish the Texans as a legit player in the AFC this year…
JA’s Pick: Texans

Browns @ Bears
Da Bears got smoked by the Bengals last week and are quickly losing ground on the Packers and Vikings…With the Favre Bowl going on in G.B, Chicago can grab a big win today….and what better week to get the Cleveland Browns? I give it 2 more weeks before they invite LeBron to play WR…
JA’s Pick: Bears

Seahawks @ Cowboys
I didn’t think they could take Atlanta, but Tony Romo had his best game of the year last week..Big D sits a game out of the NFC East, while the Seahawks are slipping into obscurity…I expect a lot of points to be scored today, but the Cowboys pull it out at home…and possibly take over first place with a Giants loss..If this happens, I’m sure Tony Romo will suddenly be an elite quarterback in the eyes of all major analysts once again…by the by, Jersey product Miles Austin is a beast
JA’s Pick: Cowboys

Rams @ Lions
This game will most likely be looked past, but when you’ve got two teams playing each other that aren’t going to win very many…if any…games this year, you play your hearts out and squeeze out a W….I feel the Lions will do this today at home against this year’s version…of themselves….0-16 anyone?
JA’s Pick: Lions

49ers @ Colts
Alex Smith got his chance to prove he’s not a bust by nearly leading a phenomenal comeback last week, but it’s going to take more than one game to prove himself and playing the Colts on the road won’t help…Crabtree looks legit and may have another great game today, but Peyton and co. will look that much better…
JA’s Pick: Colts

Raiders @ Chargers
For the second week in a row, the Chargers get to tangle with another AFC West cellar dweller….The Raiders should start considering either a) starting a new promotion to let one lucky fan play quarterback for one game or b) having Tom Cable beat the %$#$ out of the other team before they go out on the field…Bolts roll..
JA’s Pick: Chargers

Jaguars @ Titans
Titans nation finally gets to see Vince Young lead the O and we get a solid matchup of 2 of the league’s best Running backs….Haven’t thrown it out there yet so I’m throwing up the UPSET SPECIAL!!! Titans get their first win of the season today…Kerry Collins can be found in a local Nashville bar drinking his life away..
JA’s Pick: Titans

Panthers @ Cardinals
With 3 wins in a row, Arizona is looking like they are getting back into their defending NFC Championship form and the Panthers really don’t have much of a chance in this one…Steve Smith will sadly go without another touchdown this week as Jake Delhomme goes for the all-time record for most picks thrown in a season..
JA’s Pick: Cardinals

Vikings @ Packers
Even though they have already played, today is the big day…Longtime Packer kicker Ryan Longwell returns to Lambeau!!! And some other guy named Brett Favre…. TODAY is the Favre bowl!! There will not be many more atmospheres in sports that will have the electric that Lambeau Field will have today for the return of their former son…and now bitter enemy…Oh, by the way, we’ve got a matchup of the two best teams of the NFC Central here…If Favre can come through today, I’ll be convinced that there’s nothing he CAN’T do as a player…However, I just don’t see the packers losing this one….
JA’s pick: Packers

Falcons @ Saints
Monday night’s game features the cream of the crop in the NFC South. The Falcons are a great football team, but the Saints are the BEST team in football….
JA’s Pick: Saints

Enjoy week 8…and that Halloween Candy

Raider Nation Domination!

After a week of question surrounding Eli and his plantar fascilitis, it took a mere half of football to answer whether Manning was healthy enough to make his 83rd consecutive start...
With a perfect QB rating, Eli Manning threw 2 TD's and passed for 173 yards in a 44-7 rout of the Raiders....
Ahmad Bradshaw ran all over the D with 110 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns (that both came in the 1st quarter) to go along with a 55-yd catch...
It was nice to see David Carr "get to play with the toys" as i'm sure it was weird for him to actually have time to throw the ball...Even throwing in a nice 12 yd rushing TD...In my opinion, Carr is easily one of, if not the best backup qb in football...
This game reminded me of a varsity team playing the freshman...The Raiders didn't have a first down until the 7:18 mark of the second quarter. With 3 lost fumbles, JaMarcus Russell is proving to me , week in and week out, that he is the absolute WORST quarterback in the NFL...how in the world can you give the job to Russell and cut a proven commodity like Jeff Garcia? Oh yea, this guy was supposed to be the savior of the franchise and was signed to an absurd 6 yr/68mil contract with $31.5 guaranteed...When he was holding out, Al Davis should have said screw him. I forgot, Al Davis lost his mind years ago....Pierce said this game was like a scrimmage, he couldn't have done a better job of hitting the nail on the head...
The G-Men are 5-0 and off to their best start since 1990, a Super-Bowl winning season..Next week won't be a scrimmage, however. The schedule picks up with a trip to New Orleans to play the undefeated Saints...a team that has shared the conversation of "best team in the NFC" with the Giants...The easy part of the schedule is over, now it's time for big blue to prove they are the class of the NFC...and the NFL...

Rookie Coach makes rookie mistake....

For the second week in a row, it was one of the Jets rookies that played a crucial part in the team's defeat...First, it was Mark Sanchez for the Saints, this week it was Rex Ryan's inability to manage the clock during the final minutes of Monday night's game vs. Miami...

How does one not use a timeout during that final drive? Having confidence is one thing..it's actually a very good thing..However, assuming that they wouldn't score more than a field goal and that you would get the ball back with plenty of time to score is borderline stupidity...

I am becoming awfully sick and tired of seeing this highly regarded Jets Defense pounding their chest saying how good they really are..Bart Scott is, by far, the outspoken leader of this bunch and proclaimed that the Wildcat ofense was somewhat of a joke...Well, that joke beat them on Monday Night...To the Jets Defense..SHUT UP! and actually go out there on the field and get it done! You can't ride your preformance against the Pats this year as a free pass to talk trash all year...

The Jets did have a couple positives come out of Monday night. First of all, the Jets have found a star receiver in Braylon Edwards...He just missed having a multiple-TD game and Sanchez will be sure to hit him often..Hey, sometimes all you need is a change of scenery, right? Second, the Jets can rebound from a 2-game losing streak by beating a terrible Bills team at home this Sunday...Ryan said Monday was a humbling experience...Sunday we will all see how "humbled" the D felt by how they play Buffalo...

Your still in a tie for 1st for the time being Jets nation..However, if your going to keep up with New England, the D has to step that game up! Because they have certainly looked suspect the last 2 weeks...

JA's Week 5 picks!!!

Last week:10-4

Season: 44-18

Bengals @ Ravens

HUGE game for the Bengals to prove that their 3-1 record is legit...However, today is not the day Cincy makes a statement...In Flacco we trust..

JA's Pick: Ravens

Browns @ Bills

Trent Edwards will put on an air-show today against the Braylon Edwards-less Brownies...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that T.O even has a decent day...

JA's pick: Bills

Redskins @ Panthers

Don't let the 2-2 record deceive you...As talented as this team should be, their record does them no justice...The Skins are NOT a good football team and a rejuvenated Jake Delhomme should finally lead to a good day for that OTHER Steve Smith...Panthers get their first W...

JA's pick: Panthers

Steelers @ Lions

Polamalu is still about a week away from returning to make that Steelers D scary again...Lions are going with the wily vet Daunte Culpepper...as much as I have love for Detroit Rock City, i'm going with the defending champs in this one...

JA's pick: Steelers

Cowboys @ Chiefs

Tony Romo hasn't thrown a TD in 2 weeks...playing the 0-4 Chiefs should help...Roy Williams is out, but he's basically been a non-factor since he was traded there anyway...If they can't beat K.C, i'm ready to write off big D until 2010...

JA's pick: Cowboys

Raiders @ Giants

Should Eli play? Shouldn't he? Regardless, the G-Men steamroll the Raiders and go to 5-0!

JA's pick: GGGGGGGGGGGGG-MEN

Bucs @ Eagles

The Eagles get McNabb back today and the Bucs continue to make their case for "Worst Team in the NFL"....

JA's pick: Eagles

Vikings @ Rams

Brett Farve comes out Monday Night and has a monster game...surprised? I wasn't...the guy always steps up on MNF....Don't get me wrong, i'm still waiting to see how he's playing around week 13...Vikes go to 5-0 and the D eats Kyle Boller alive...the Rams are awful

JA's pick: Vikings

Falcons @ 49ers

One of the more intriguing games of the week...as good as I think the Falcons are, their D has been very sub-par thus far...the Niners are playing as hungry as i've seen them play since the Steve Young Days...this is the game where the Niners show they're legit and Mike Singletary starts collecting votes for Coach of the Year...

JA's pick: 49ers

Texans @ Cardinals

As good as Matt Schaub has been, Steve Slaton has looked that much worse...big game for Kurt Warner because he plays like he's 38 now and Leinart is waiting in the wings...However, Warner has a thing for overcoming adversity and I see a big game from Warner, Larry Fitz and Boldin..

JA's pick: Cardinals

Patriots @ Broncos

Student vs. The teacher...Belichick vs. McDaniels...This is the fifth week in a row the Pats have played an undefeated team...Big test for Brady today will be Champ Bailey and Denver's Defensive unit which ranks second in the NFL...I'm calling an UPSET SPECIAL...Broncos go 5-0 and the New Jersey prosuct, Knowshon Moreno steps up for a big day in place of the injured Buckhalter..

JA's pick: Broncos

Jaguars @ Seahawks

The Seahawks at Matt Hasselbeck back today, but the Jags are rollin.....the 12th man is a non-factor today...T.J Houshmanzilly begins his trade demands after this one..

JA's pick: Jaguars

Colts @ Titans

The Titans are in full panic mode right now as they have already lost more games than they did all of last season....What makes matters worse is the fact that they now have to day with the best QB in football, Peyton Manning...The fans will be chanting for VY by halftime

JA's pick: Colts

Jets @ Dolphins

Sanchez and Henne's 5 combined starts make them tied for the least experienced duo to ever start a MNF game...The fins have the league's best rushing attack and as good as the Jets' D has looked...it may be too much for them to handle....The Jets will have a solid season, but the glass slipper is starting to fall off...

JA's Pick: Dolphins

Season's Greetings...from Eric Mangini

by: Jim Hildebrand
It seems Eric Mangini helps the Jets more as someone else’s head coach.
First, it was the Mark Sanchez trade, revitalizing the organization and fan base by sending the Jets a legitimate quarterback prospect. Heading into the season, the only hole big on the team appeared to be at wide receiver. However the Gang Green has played a quarter of the season looking every bit the part of a playoff team by starting 3-1 and still, the only hole seems to be at wide receiver.
Enter Braylon Edwards.
The Jets traded for the disgruntled wideout by parting ways with WR Chansi Stuckey, LB/special teams ace Jason Trusnik, two draft picks, and a thank you card.
Basically, New York weakened itself, slightly, in one area: special teams coverage. Trusnik was the special teams player of the week for his play against the Tennessee Titans and will be missed. However, special teams players are replaceable. Edwards presents a major upgrade over Stuckey. Although I like Stuck a lot, he was a third down, possession receiver playing the part of a bonafide number two. We replace Stuckey with a guy who caught 80 passes, including 16 touchdowns, for 1,289 yards just two years ago. Edwards' big play ability should open up the running game, as more teams will have to respect the deep threat. Throw Edwards into a group that includes Jerricho Cotchery, up-and-coming tight end Dustin Keller, and pro bowl running backs Leon Washington and Thomas Jones and you have the possibilities of a dynamic offense.
The big downside to this trade is giving up two more draft picks. General Manager Mike Tannenbaum has made it a habit in giving up draft picks the past few years. Over the last two and a half years, they have given up picks to nab Sanchez, Lito Sheppard, David Harris, Darrelle Revis, Kris Jenkins and Dustin Keller, in addition to Edwards. While all those names play key roles for this 2009 Jets team, the lack of draft picks in recent years could leave the team severely thin for quality backups in the future.
All in all, this team is better today than it was yesterday. What looked to be a playoff team through four games just got better. This trade makes former number one wide receiver Cotchery better, it makes the running game more formidable and, most importantly, it makes life easier for rookie Mark Sanchez.
Only one question remains: Does Hallmark make cards that say, “Thank you Man-Genius”?

JA's Week 3 NFL Predictions!!!

Just like that it is already week 3 of the NFL Football Season...We've already seen some big names fall victim to the injury bug and we've already seen some surprises like the 2-0 Denver Broncos...we've also seen some non-surprises like the 0-2 Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions...
Last week was a rough one going 9-7...it could have been 10-6 if the Dolphins knew how to run a proper 2 minute drill...but enough with the negativity...let's get to the picks!
Last week: 9-7
Overall: 22-10
Browns @ Ravens
The Ravens' D, despite leading the league in rush defense, has given up 50 points so far this year...very unlike the Ravens' D of the past...even more unlikely is how the Ravens have already put up 69 points in their first 2 games..Joe Flacco is looking more legit by the week and the Brownies are looking more like the second coming of the 2008 Detroit Lions..
JA's pick: Ravens
Titans @ Jets
Gang Green is definitely drinking Rex Ryan's Kool-Aid as this team is looking more and more like the real deal. The Jets have defied my opinion the last two weeks as they have yet to allow an offensive TD...on the other end of the spectrum, the Titans are staring 0-3 in the mirror and are sure to bring their A-Game...VERY intrigued to see Chris Johnson go up against the Jets D after destroying the Texans last week....I don't see this game being as tough for the Jets as last week...I know Jimbo will hate me for this, but for the first time all year..i'm going Gang Green!
JA's pick: Jets
Redskins @ Lions
The Skins looked UGLY barely beating the Rams last week...Stafford hasn't looked all that impressive thus far, but I feel that this is the week that we finally see it...A LIONS VICTORY!!
JA's pick: Lions
Jaguars @ Texans
The Texans' offense finally woke up last week...and that's bad news for the Jags...who will start out 0-3 for the first time in 6 years....
JA's pick: Texans
49ers @ Vikings
Minnesota fans finally get a look at their new "savior" in week 3 (even though that "savior" hasn't thrown a complete pass for more than 15 yards)...the Niners have surprised many with their 2-0 start, but they are by no means ready to start making noise in the NFC (even though they will take a step in the right direction this season)...The Vikes will go 3-0 and they will begin building Brett's statue in downtown Minnesota...However, Vikes fans shouldn't get TOO excited just yet...you've only beaten the Browns, Lions and Niners....
JA's pick: Vikings
Falcons @ Patriots
Matt Ryan is on his way to becoming an elite NFL QB...Sunday he gets his chance to compete against one of the best the NFL has to offer in Tom Brady...The Pats are coming off a crushing loss at the Meadowlands and will be hungry...The Falcons are sitting pretty at 2-0 behind the strong play of Ryan and the re-emergence of Tony Gonzalez...Can the Falcons pick apart the young Pats D? If the Patriots prevail, it shows me that they are still one of the teams to beat in the AFC...However, I feel this is the game Matt Ryan tells the NFL world that he and the Falcons are a force to be reckoned with....back to the drawing board Billy boy!
JA's Pick: Falcons
Giants @ Buccaneers
The G-Men are coming off a comeback win against their biggest rival....their WR unit is showing an identity and their running game is sure to show up against a lousy Bucs D...However, Tuck will be sitting this game out and Kenny Phillips is lost for the year...Although it's a slight disadvantage, it will not be seen until about week 6 or so.....G-Men go 3-0 here..
JA's pick: Giants
Chiefs @ Eagles
Kevin Kolb may be the 4th best QB on the Eagles' depth chart, but he will get the nod as McNabb will surely be out again...In a side note, Vick is eligible to play his first NFL Regular Season game in nearly 3 years! How will he do? My guess is about 8-10 plays, the Wildcat and 1 big play whether it be a big run or a TD pass... The Eagles should be able to handle the Chiefs, but it boggles my mind why they signed Jeff Garcia to ride the bench...
JA's pick: Eagles
Packers @ Rams
The Rams go into this game trying to avoid a franchise-record 13th straight loss...they won't do it against the Pack..
JA's pick: Packers
Saints @ Bills
A matchup of 2 of the NFL's most surprising offensive units this season...The Bills have been putting up some points...but what's more impressive? Averaging 46.5 points a game or scoring 33 against the Buccaneers? Drew Brees is playing like he wants a MVP trophy and this game will be another statement towards his case....Maybe T.O doesn't let a ball go through through his arms in this one..
JA's pick: Saints
Bears @ Seahawks
The Bears are coming off a win against the defending Super Bowl Champions..Matt Forte has onyl rushed for 84 yards this year but is going up against the league's 26th best rushing D...The Seahawks will most likely be sending out Seneca Wallace to take the snaps for injured Matt Hasselbeck...The 12th man doesn't come through in this one..
JA's pick: Bears
Steelers @ Bengals
Since when does Cedric Benson actually have a good game? As entertaining as Ochocinco's Lambeau leap was last week....the Steelers won't be coming to Cincy for fun and games...but to avenge last week's brutal loss to the Bears...Their plan? To be up by more than 3 when the game hits the 4th quarter...
JA's pick: Steelers
Dolphins @ Chargers
How does a team lose when they have the ball for 45 min of a football game? They have not played like an 0-2 team, but they face the possibility of going 0-3...They have beaten the injury-riddled Chargers in the last 6 matchups...Although stopping their run shouldn't be a problem, the Fins will have a tough time stopping Phillip Rivers who is sure to put on another air show....
JA's pick: Chargers
Broncos @ Raiders
Despite pulling out a victory last week, JaMarcus Russell couldn't have looked much worse than he did. If he can step it up and play like he did against San Diego, Oakland should be able to pull it out..The only thing is, he won't and Denver is somehow going to be 3-0 at the end of the day...
JA's pick: Broncos
Colts @ Cardinals
Both of these teams have looked awfully vulnerable going into this one...The Cardinals kicked off the defense of heir NFC Championship by losing to the Niners at Home and the Colts have had two very shady victories against the Jags and Fins....Both of these teams, however, have momentum coming in...With that being said, i'm going with the Cards in front of their home crowd...Peyton will most likely have the ball for more than 15 min...but week 3 will show how vulnerable this team really is....
JA's pick: Cardinals
Panthers @ Cowboys
One struggling quarterback against another...both of these teams could use the W...it's just a matter of who's going to want it more...I thought last week was Carolina's week to rebound, but I was wrong....The Cowboys will rebound after last week's crushing loss and this week will officially mark the beginning of the end for Jake Delhomme and Head Coach John Fox
JA's Pick: Cowboys
There you have it....Thoughts? Opinions?

For real?

WHEW.
That’s the sound you probably heard at roughly four in the afternoon this past Sunday. A collective sigh from an entire fan base echoed through the metropolitan area, a sound that signified a wide open race for the AFC East title. The New York Jets defeated the New England Patriots by a score of 16-9 and in doing so, put themselves on the NFL map.
After not allowing an offensive touchdown in week one, week two provided evidence that Gang Green’s defense in 2009 is one the NFL’s elites. Rex Ryan’s boys produced a rerun of sorts—again, no offensive touchdowns—while backing up their trash talking. Remember, when Rex Ryan first got hired, he made comments about “not kissing Bill Belicheck’s rings.” Then Kris Jenkins declared that week two was the Jets super bowl. Follow that up with Kerry Rhodes boldly stating that the Jets defense wouldn’t be as forgiving as the Bills were a week prior and would hit quarterback Tom Brady more than six times.
Check. Check. Check.
For the first time since the beginning of the decade, the Jets beat their rival at home. And while this was only week two, it certainly has elevated the confidence and moral of a once silent locker room a mere year ago. Through two games, the whole team looks loose, they look like they are having fun and, most importantly, they’re winning.
The defense wasn’t the only bright spot. The offense, stagnant in the first half, came to life in a matter of three plays to start the second half. A short pass to Jerricho Cotchery, a missed tackle, and a Mark Sanchez-to-Dustin Keller hook up from 9 yards out proved the difference. The offense moved the ball well enough in the second half, picking up two Jay Feely field goals to finish off the scoring. Sanchez looked like a veteran in the second half, helping the Jets stay undefeated—and atop the division—early in the NFL season.
There might have been yapping months, weeks and days prior to the game from the Jets side. Finally, Gang Green sent a message loud and clear, this time on the field: this is a new Jets team ready to legitimately challenge for the division.

Na Na Na Na...Hey Hey Hey..Goodbye Plax!

Remember when this guy caught the game-winning pass in the Super Bowl?

That same guy is getting ready to serve the next 2 years of his life in jail...how the mighty have fallen...

Plax began his sentence yesterday..and although I feel the sentencing of 2 years is a bit harsh...he did deserve a sentence of some sort..

By the time he gets out, he will be 34 years old and still have a shot at, once again, giving cornerbacks nightmares on the football field...Until then, he needs to put things into perspective and realize what being a thug cost him...Yes, he was carring a firearm to "defend himself", but at what price? A reputation? Fame and fortune? The same concepts that brought him to that fateful night also brought him down...

Hopefully, this serves as a wake-up call to all of those out there in the league who try to carry their street mentality with them to the professional level...

JA's G-Men Wrap-Up....Lawrence goes "Prime Tynes" in Big D!

One Kick sent a sold out Dallas crowd of 105, 121 home in disappointment....

Despite missing a 29 yarder, Lawrence Tynes managed to put his 4th Field Goal, a 37 yarder, through the uprights as time expired to cap a 33-31 G-Men victory in Big D on Sunday Night.

If he didn't prove it to the world during Super Bowl 42, Eli Manning is starting to establish himself as one of the clutch leaders of the National Football League after, once again, leading his team down the field in the final two minutes of the game.

Any questions about how the Wide Receiving corps would fare this season are beginning to be answered with the play of Steve Smith and Mario Manningham...Smith, once again came through with 10 catches and 134 yards receiving...including a TD reception from Eli in the 4th quarter...Mario Manningham may have very well had his coming out party with 10 catches of his own and 150 yards receiving and a TD to boot...These two are making one hell of a 1-2 punch so far this season...

The running game, once again failed to show up with Jacobs only getting 58 yards on the ground...The Red Zone offense also failed in their second straight game to punch it into the end zone going 0-5....As good as the receiving has looked...it's only a matter of time before the G-Men are going to have to rely on punching the pigskin in on the ground and they have yet to do it...

Although the D showed flashes of dominance with their 3 picks and fumble recovery....they also gave up an inexcusable 251 yards rushing...The duo of Marion Barber and Felix Jones had a field day and each managed a touchdown run...The injury sustained to Justin Tuck, after a bitch play by Flozell Adams, raises a red flag as he is questionable for next week's clash against the Buccaneers...

What really saved the hides of the D was the atrocious play of Tony Romo, who threw for only 127 yds and had 3 of the most brutal interceptions that I have seen in quite some time...was he even looking when he threw those last 2 picks?

Regardless, the G-Men are sitting pretty atop the NFC East at 2-0 and the next 3 weeks are looking like smooth sailing with the Bucs, Chiefs and Raiders on tap...

Broadway Mark? by Jim Hildebrand

Why do I not work in an NFL front office? Because I wanted Michael Crabtree when the Jets traded up to number five in this past April’s NFL draft.
Shame on me.
Mark Sanchez looked the part of a seasoned NFL veteran. Not only did he lead his team to a convincing opening day victory, he did so against an up-and-coming Houston Texans squad who were 12-4 in their last 16 home games. The Texans held one of the league’s best offenses last year, including game-breaking wideout Andre Johnson. Johnson was a non-factor all game long, being held without a catch for over 2 quarters and finishing with just four for 35 yards. The offense was shutout (the Texans scored their lone TD on defense) and held to less than forty yards on the ground. Gang green looked legit.
But let’s get back to Sanchez. Coming out of USC, it seemed like the pressure never got to the rookie. He displayed poise and leadership when most rookies would crumble. After he threw a fourth quarter interception that Houston’s defense returned for a score, he was staring adversity in the face. What does he do? Completes a 40 yard pass to Dustin Keller that seconds later would result in a Thomas Jones 38 yard TD run to ice the game. Sanchez definitely showed us he has the three “C’s”: calm, cool and collected.
Before you even say it, yes I know it’s only one game. But looking back to day one of the preseason, this game exceeded my expectations for either Kellen Clemens or Sanchez. The same formula holds true from that first practice this summer in upstate New York; control the ball and don’t turn it over on offense and force mistakes with aggressiveness on defense. Everything wasn’t perfect, but it was certainly good enough to win a road game in the NFL in a hostile environment. It will only get tougher with the Patriots visiting town next Sunday, but it looks like the Jets finally have a bona fide quarterback of the future.
I guess we can put to rest the “rookie-quarterbacks-can’t-win-in-the-NFL” talk…at least for another week.

The Madden Curse lives on!!

Even though he has retired from the booth, it looks like the curse of John Madden hasn't gone anywhere...

Consider Troy Palamalu the latest victim after he sustained a sprained MCL in his left knee that will keep him out of action for the next 3-6 weeks...leaving the defending Super Bowl Champion Steelers without their straw that stirs the drink on D...

Now for those of you unfamiliar with this curse...long story short...whoever has appeared on the cover of Madden has either suffered an injury or their career has never been the same afterwards...allow me to prove to you why this thing is legit...

MADDEN 2000: Arguably, one of the greatest RB's of all-time, Barry Sanders was originally slated to grace the cover..but decided that he was going to retire from football just before training camp started! Selected in his place was Packers RB Dorsey Levens..PREVIOUS YEAR: fresh off of back-to-back Super Bowl appearances...COVER YEAR: although he had a decent year in '99, (1,043 yds) he re-aggravated an old knee injury..the Pack sumbled to an 8-8 record that year and his knee would never be the same again. 1999 was his final season as a starting RB as he was reduced to a reserve player for the rest of his career....Casuality total: 1

MADDEN 2001: VICTIM: Titans RB Eddie George....PREVIOUS YEAR: Fresh off a Super-Bowl appearance in '99..COVER YEAR: the former Heisman Trophy winner enjoyed one of his best seasons in 2000...but the curse hit in the divisional playoffs when he bobbled a pass that was intercepted and returned for a TD in the Divisional Playoffs that year...a game they eventually lost...his next season was injury-riddled and his numbers sank to an all-time low.....Casuality total: 2

MADDEN 2002: VICTIM: Vikings QB Daunte Culpepper...PREVIOUS YEAR:in his rookie campaign he managed to lead the Vikes all the way to the NFC Title game...COVER YEAR: the Vikes got off to a 4-7 start and a knee injury knocked Culpepper out for the last 5 games of the year...Casuality total: 3

MADDEN 2003: VICTIM: Rams RB Marshall Faulk...PREVIOUS YEARS...reached Super Bowl 2 out of the previous 3 years...COVER YEAR: Rushing yards dropped under 1,000 after 4 straight years of 1,300 Rushing yards or more and the Rams missed the playoffs...Casuality total: 4

MADDEN 2004: VICTIM: Falcons QB Michael Vick.....PREVIOUS YEAR...Vick led Hotlanta to the playoffs in his first year as a starter....COVER YEAR...The day after the game came out he fractured his fibula in a pre-season game and missed the first 11 games of the season...I wonder what he was doing in his spare time?....Casuality Total: 5

P.S does anybody remember how obnoxiously good they made Mike Vick in this game?

MADDEN 2005: VICTIM: Ravens LB Ray Lewis...PREVIOUS YEAR...Career high 6 picks in 2003...COVER YEAR...0 picks for the first time in his career and missed the crucial final game of the season that resulted in B-More missing the playoffs...the next year he tore his right hamstring 5 games into the season and he was done for the year....Casuality total: 6

MADDEN 2006: VICTIM: Eagles QB Donovan McNabb...PREVIOUS YEAR: Lost by 3 points in the Super Bowl and lost his lunch in the huddle...COVER YEAR: Suffered a sports hernia the first game of the year..played 8 more games until he decided to opt for surgery and miss the rest of the year...it should be noted that when asked about the possibility of a curse he replied by saying "it might be a trend, but I don't believe in the curse at all."...believe it Donovan...Casuality total: 7

MADDEN 2007: VICTIM: Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander...PREVIOUS YEAR...led the Seahawks to their first ever Super Bowl...COVER YEAR...broke his foot and missed 6 games...his career was never the same after this...Casuality total: 8

MADDEN 2008: VICTIM: Titans QB Vince Young...PREVIOUS YEAR...Led Texas to National Championship....COVER YEAR: The rook hert his quad in the 5th game of the season and missed the first start of his career at any level....now look where he is....but don't worry VY fans...he'll still be a HOF Quarterback..at least he thinks so....Anyway, I digress...Casuality total: 9

MADDEN 2009: VICTIM: Brett Favre...at this point, EA took the "retired player" route and picked a man who we thought had just finished a HOF career in Green Bay, but Brett made the all too familiar decision to come back as a member of the Jets....after an 8-3 start, Farve and his tricep literally threw any chances of a postseason birth out of the realm of possibility...losing the last 5 games of the year...Casuality total: 10

Throw in Polamalu and you have 11 players that have so far fallen victim to this curse...somewhere out there, John Madden is riding in his bus eating a turkey leg and having a good laugh over all of this...as dumb as the whole idea of the curse really is...the results don't exactly lie...All I have to say is...watch out Larry Fitzgerald...your next!

JA's NFL Week 1 Predictions

So football season has finally come upon us and kickoff is a mere few hours away…With all of that mumbo jumbo out of the way..I am here with my predictions for week 1…

Tennessee @ Pittsburgh
How appropriate that we kick off the season at the home of the defending Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers…Quite frankly, I don’t know how much Kerry Collins has left in the tank and we all know that the self-proclaimed “Future Hall of Famer” Vince Young is waiting in the wings…Their D took a hit losing Haynesworth, but it won’t matter all that much tonight because it’s gonna be hard for them to see what’s going on with the shine from those SB rings in their eyes…Those terrible towels will be waving proudly tonight

JA’s pick= Steelers

Miami @ Atlanta
The Cinderella story is over for the Fins and the Falcons pick up an important win here before they battle Carolina and New England

JA’s pick= Falcons

Dallas @ Tampa Bay
This is going to be the beginning of a long season for Tampa Bay…losing Jeff Garcia and gaining a Byron Leftwich isn’t exactly upgrading your QB position…not to mention a fresh out of middle school QB in Josh Freeman…Big D gets an easy win here and proclaim themselves SB Champs until the Giants take them out in Week 2…

JA’s pick= Cowboys

Detroit @ New Orleans
Welcome to the NFL Matthew Stafford! Allow Drew Brees to show you what a REAL NFL offense looks like..because your defense is going to find out the hard way…

JA’s pick= Saints
Jacksonville @ Indianapolis
The health of Jags stud Maurice Jones-Drew is in question…not to mention the Jaguars are going up against a 275lb QB…with a laser rocket arm…

JA’s pick= Colts

Jets/Texans
The Mark Sanchez era begins for Gang Green…Unfortunately for him, the Texans seem poised to have a breakout year…Consider this Sunday orientation Jet fans because Marky Mark is gonna take some hits…perhaps he can take some notes on Kellen Clemens’ clipboard…he’ll get his share of W’s this year..Just not on Sunday

JA’S pick= Texans

Minnesota @ Cleveland
This matchup pits one pathetic man and former battery mates against another: Brett Favre vs. Eric Mangini...Despite Brett being a bit over concerned with the way he was treated by the Jets these days, he should at least find a way to notch the W in his 4th comeback to the NFL…I don’t know what’s more pathetic Mr. Mangenius , your ability to hide your starting QB or the ability of the Cleveland Browns to produce a winning team?

JA’s pick= Vikings

Kansas City @ Baltimore
If Matt Cassel is out for an extended period of time it’s going to be a rough year for KC…The Ravens D has a field day…

JA’s pick= Ravens

Philly @ Carolina
We get our first look at would could very well be one of the more prolific offenses Philly has ever had…This will be a close one...But Philly makes a statement here

JA’s pick= Eagles

Denver @ Cincinnati
Kyle Orton drinks another bottle of JD before the game to numb his injured finger and Ochocinco breaks out one of the best end zone celebrations you will ever see…

JA’s pick= Bengals

Washington @ New York
Aaron Ross is hurt..but Jason Campbell isn’t good enough to exploit that…Brandon Jacobs shows Albert Haynesworth just how big of a man he really is by leaving a cleat mark on his chest

JA’s pick= Giants

San Francisco @ Arizona
Remember the time Michael Crabtree signs a contract at halftime and shows up to catch a game winner? Yea, me neither..I got the defending NFC Champs in this one

JA’s pick= Cardinals

St. Louis @ Seattle
Mark Bulger gets injured running out onto the field and..NOTCH IT UP…a TD from T.J Houshmanzilly..put it on the board…

JA’s pick = Seahawks

Chicago @ Green Bay
The Packers D looks awfully good this year and Aaron Rodgers is out to make sure that by the end of the year…the Lambeau faithful are saying Brett who?

JA’s pick= Packers

Buffalo @ New England
Tom Brady is back…get your popcorn ready T.O….it’s gonna be a long night

JA’s pick= Patriots

San Diego @ Oakland
In the other Monday night game, SD will show why they are the class of the AFC West…and somewhere Jeff Garcia will be at a Buffalo Wild Wings watching this game laughing his ass off that they went with the fat, lazy, overrated bust they call JaMarcus Russell….McFadden will be the bright spot on a lousy team

JA's pick= Chargers

There you have it ladies and gentlemen…

AWOL Osi and the G-Men season preview!!

Despite a whirlwind of questions at the Wide Receiver position, the New York football Giants looked poised to make the playoffs for a 5th consecutive season...

The main strength of this team is their D...the offseason additions of Chris Canty, Rocky Bernard and Michael Boley make this Giants defense one of the best defensive units in all of foosball...

The D is also more than happy to welcome back their stud DE Osi "AWOL" Umenyiora who is returning after missing last season....now before I go off on how talented this man is..i would like to throw out a FINGER OF SHAME for acting like a PO'd 9 year old who was told he wasn't allowed to play Madden until his homework was done...You just don't decide to no-show a practice when you are supposed to be a leader on this team...Put your ego aside and do what's best for the squad.....

Even if you take Osi out of the equation, the D-Line is beyond solid with Justin Tuck at the other DE position...after a solid season in '07, he proved to the league in '08 with his 12 sacks that he is gonna be a major player for many more years to come and showed Giant fans that big ol' Michael Strahan retiring didn't kill the line...The DT combo of Fred Robbins and 6' 7" former Cowboy Chris Canty will do some damage and it's possible that the two of them standing side by side resembles the Great Wall of China with their 600 lbs of mass...

The linebacker core will hit or miss based in my view on the play of Antonio Pierce...he is starting to show slight signs of decline, but if he can remain to be the outspoken leader of the D and not let his offseason troubles get in his head he should be more than solid....Gerris Wilkinson and Kiwanuka are safe bets for holding their own and I like the intensity that Chase Blackburn and Zac DeOssie bring to the table...can you say breakout season for either of these guys? Throw in Michael Boley when he returns from his suspension and that is just another unit chock full of depth...

If Aaron Ross can stay healthy, he makes a solid core of CB's with Corey Webster...Michael Johnson is a reliable safety and Kenny Phillips will absolutely emerge this year after having a full year of experience in the pros....

When I look at this D....I see no weaknesses and plenty of options if a man or two goes down...They may need to rely on this strong D if....

These Wide Receivers continue to not catch passes from 97.5 million dollar man, Eli Manning...

Despite showing the ability to get open, the receiving unit just can't seem to catch a pass...if you need proof just talk to Steve Smith after missing a potential TD throw against the Jets last week...
I see a unit full of #2 and #3 receivers with no clear-cut #1...thanks for being a jackass Plax...Because of you, you left a gaping hole in the offense....
If I had to arrange who I would put at WR, I would put Nicks as my #1...hey, you drafted him in the first round for a reason and he has looked good in preseason...#2 would be Steve Smith, #3 would be Dominick Hixon and my #4 would be Mario Manningham after having a very impressive preseason...
I would show the door to Sinorice Moss because he simply isn't an NFL receiver...when your jersey sells for $30 at Modell's and your STILL on the team...your no good..
With a tear in my eye, i'd also show the door to Super Bowl hero, David Tyree who quite frankly doesn't have it anymore and can't catch a ball if his life depended on it..
Amani Toomer anyone? The Chiefs did just cut him....
It is a VERY big possibility that Kevin Boss could lead this team in TD catches this year...he is the most reliable receiver Eli has...not to mention the biggist boss that you've seen thus far...
But hey, at least big E still has a solid backfield with the mack truck whose name is Madison Hedgecock and the RB duo of Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw...wind may have gone to Tampa Bay (Derrick Ward), but Bradshaw should be more than able to fill his shoes...Jacobs will continue to do what he does best..which is scoring about 12-14 TD's and leave a path of injured opponents along the way..
The NFC East is definitely more competitive than it was last season, but the G-Men will ride the D and their running game into the playoffs once again...
My prediction...10-6

The Sanchez era begins by Jim Hildebrand

Kellen Clemens finally had a legitimate chance to be a starting quarterback in the NFL. Brett Favre had retired. The Jets drafted a rookie quarterback rather than signing a veteran. He had game experience. He practiced in the same system for three years. He was the Jets quarterback of the future.

Keyword: WAS.

Clemens finally had a fair chance to be the Jets number one signal caller. In 2006, he was a mere rookie when he was beaten out for the job, badly, by Chad Pennington. Last year, Favre was traded for and Clemens took a back seat again. But this was the year. This was the year he was supposed to show maturity. This was the year he was supposed to take the reigns. This was the year that he has been waiting for since he first put on shoulder pads.

Yes, the Jets love Mark Sanchez and always did want him to be their starter on opening day. However, it wasn’t so much that Sanchez won the job; no, it’s just that Clemens was more underwhelming than Sanchez was overwhelming. Let’s not discredit Mark Sanchez. He had a solid training camp and deserves to be the number one QB on this team. And even though the Jets wanted Sanchez to start, it was a fair battle all training camp. Clemens was practicing with the first team constantly, more than Sanchez. And maybe that was the problem for him.

When Favre retired earlier this year, Clemens was the starter. He was the starter when the Jets drafted Sanchez, too. Let’s be honest, this team is built to win now. You don’t groom a “quarterback of the future” when your team is built to win in the present. The only thing the Jets really need from the quarterback position this year is to not turn the ball over. However, that’s precisely the thing that Clemens can’t seem to grasp. Whether it was in his past NFL experience, during training camp or the preseason games, Clemens couldn’t (and doesn’t) seem to understand the concept of ball control.

Conversely, Sanchez hasn’t turned the ball over much at all over the past month in a Jets uniform. He has displayed leadership qualities, learns from his mistakes and, most importantly, shown the Jets what a starting quarterback should look like. Grab your clipboard (again) Kellen Clemens. You’re gonna need it.

Comeback kids? The jury is still out

What dog fighting felonies?

With the Rocky Balboa-like ovation he received last night, it appeared to me that the normally harsh Eagles fans are more than willing to forgive and forget as long as it translates into good play on the field...

In his first NFL action since December 31st, 2006...Vick looked impressive by completing each of his 4 passes for a total of 19 yards...

Massive protests? With the exception of a select few they were close to non-existent and those that were protesting were actually getting heckled by fans who were proudly wearing the new #7 jerseys...

Although I am a fan of giving second chances, is it really that easy to forget what this man did to get in the position that he is in?

My only question is that if he comes back in week 6 and turns over the ball, is he suddenly going to become solely known as the dog murderer?

Keep your snowballs in the freezer for the time being....

"Throw on a pair of your old wrangler jeans and ride off into the sunset with what's left of not only your dignity, but your legacy! "

That was my advice to Brett Favre a couple weeks back when he apparently was ready to call it a career...

In the shocker of the century (heavy sacasm), Brett has decided to lace em up yet again and play for his once hated rival, the Minnesota Vikings
Is it just me, or does he look like a total pansy in purple?
Anyway, Brett has decided that giving it another go was more important then his dignity and what was left of his loyal Packers fans...
His decision has left a rift in the Vikings locker room and last time I checked...chemistry was the key to success...
They may eventually cave in and drink the kool-aid, but by the end of the season they will absolutely see the light...
Brett was brought in with the whole purpose to help this team reach the Super Bowl, but when has ANY NFL team won it all due to one player?
Come December, the fans will be calling for Tavaris Jackson...and Brett Favre's head for swindling the hopes of another NFL franchise...
