JA's Week 10 picks!

The Second Half of the season has commenced and there’s no need to worry about the Giants losing this week…on to the picks…

Falcons @ Panthers

Matt Ryan has struggled the past 3 games and the Carolina running game has brought them back to a little bit of respectability….With that being said, Ryan turns it around this week and the Falcons take one on the road..

JA’s Pick: Falcons

Broncos @ Redskins

After starting out 6-0, Denver has suffered blowout losses the last 2 weeks…What better way to redeem yourself than by playing the dreadful Redskins?

JA’s Pick: Broncos

Bills @ Titans

Chris Johnson vs. the league’s worst rushing D…….Titans go to 3-0 with VY at the helm..

JA’s Pick: Titans

Saints @ Rams

Congrats St. Louis! You’ve won your first game of the season!! What’s your grand prize?? The undefeated Saints….Time for the next losing streak to begin…

JA’s pick: Saints

Bengals @ Steelers

In a battle for the top of the AFC North standings, the Bengals will be looking to take down the defending Super Bowl Champs for the second time this season….However, the Steelers have won 5 straight and scored 27 ppg in those 5 games….I’m taking the Champs and Ochocinco won’t be able to bribe the Steelers with his dolla bills

JA’s Pick: Steelers

Jags @ Jets

Gang Green is coming off their bye after losing 4 of their last 5…On the other side, the Jags are also hanging on to slim playoff hopes with a 4-4 record of their own…This is the game where the Jets miss Kris Jenkins more than any other…Maurice Jones-Drew runs all day…at 4-5, the Jets won’t be in good shape for a potential playoff run

JA’s Pick: Jaguars

Buccaneers @ Dolphins

In a battle of Florida and former Auburn Running Backs, the Bucs look to build upon their first win of the year…A weak running defense will be their downfall, however, as the wildcat roars…

JA’s Pick: Dolphins

Lions @ Vikings

The 7-1 Vikes….The 1-7 Lions….Lions haven’t won in Minnesota in 12 years…enough said

JA’s Pick: Vikings

Chiefs @ Raiders

K.C returns from the bye without running back Larry Johnson, who was 20 yards shy of the Chiefs rushing record until he said what he said…idiot…This matchup features two of the worst teams in the league and in the end, K.C pulls it out and gets their first rushing TD of the year because unlike Oakland, they haven’t been getting destroyed as of late

JA’s Pick: Chiefs

Cowboys @ Packers

Dallas has seen several seasons go down the tube after playing on the frozen tundra…Green Bay’s Super Bowl dreams are also going down the tube after an embarrassing loss to TB…Dallas rolls and will do so til Turkey Day…then the real Tony Romo will show up…

JA’s Pick: Cowboys

Seahawks @ Cardinals

Arizona has been miserable at home this year and this week will be no different…The Seahawks are finally getting healthy and Matt Hasselbeck has weapons aplenty to take apart the Cardinals..UPSET SPECIAL!!

JA’s Pick: Seahawks

Eagles @ Chargers

The Chargers are rolling, and that’s terrible news for Philly…

JA’s Pick: Chargers

Ravens @ Browns

The Ravens have struggled since starting out 3-0…The Browns just struggle to make it through one of Eric Mangini’s practices….

JA’s Pick: Ravens

Pats @ Colts

Both men have gone 83-21 since 2003…both men have 16TD and 5 INT this year…But who’s the better QB? Brady or Manning? Brady’s got the rings so it’d hard to not pick him…It’s also hard to not pick the Pats tonight against a Colts team that has struggled to crack 21 points in the last 3 games…The Colts flaws come out tonight and they say goodbye to their undefeated record…

JA’s Pick: Patriots

JA's Week 8 Picks!

Ahh week 8 is here and we have one of the rare days of the year where all 4 major sports have a game going on…Dirty….
I decided to throw my standings up there with the likes of the analysts of ESPN and this is what we got…

Adam Schefter 74-29
Chris Mortensen 72-31
JA 71-32
Merrill Hoge 71-32
Mark Schlereth 70-33
Mike Golic 67-35
Eric Allen 64-39

I’m just saying…time to time I tend to know what I’m talking about kids…

On to the picks….

Last Week: 9-4

Giants @ Eagles
The G-Men come into this one struggling a bit since they’ve lost 2 straight..The Eagles have been bitten by the injury bug with Westbrook out and DeSean Jackson favoring a bum ankle and barely got by the Skins last week..…Eli is coming off of his worst game of the season and with Super Mario Manningham out, Giants fans should get a heavy dose of Hakeem Nicks today….kick back and grab a beer when he’s out there because this kid’s gonna be special…First place in the NFC East is one the line in this one and the G-Men play big when it counts…Giants take the first NY/Philly clash of the day,,
JA’s Pick: Giants

Dolphins @ Jets
Gang Green’s coming off of a thrashing of the Raiders after 2 crappy weeks of attempting to play football…The Fins’ watched a 21-point lead evaporate into a 46-34 loss to the best team in football….Mark Sanchez manages to grab a bite to eat before this game, but the big challenge for the Jets today will be stopping the awesome running duo of Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown with the league’s 22nd best rushing D…..They’re gonna miss Kris Jenkins in this one…
JA’s pick: Dolphins

Broncos @ Ravens
Both teams are coming off a bye week and with 3 straight losses, the Ravens had a chance to re-evaluate themselves to see if they think they can hack it with the AFC’s best….No better way to prove that than by playing the undefeated Broncos…This game is a toss-up quite frankly, but I’m going with the Broncos D shutting down Joe Flacco today on the road…Denver stays undefeated and the Cinderella story continues another week..
JA’s Pick: Broncos

Texans @ Bills
Both teams are coming in with a 2-game winning streak, but the Bills are the beneficiaries of the Jets and Panthers not showing up to play…The NFL’s leading passer, Matt Schaub is going to unleash an air-show in Buffalo today and establish the Texans as a legit player in the AFC this year…
JA’s Pick: Texans

Browns @ Bears
Da Bears got smoked by the Bengals last week and are quickly losing ground on the Packers and Vikings…With the Favre Bowl going on in G.B, Chicago can grab a big win today….and what better week to get the Cleveland Browns? I give it 2 more weeks before they invite LeBron to play WR…
JA’s Pick: Bears

Seahawks @ Cowboys
I didn’t think they could take Atlanta, but Tony Romo had his best game of the year last week..Big D sits a game out of the NFC East, while the Seahawks are slipping into obscurity…I expect a lot of points to be scored today, but the Cowboys pull it out at home…and possibly take over first place with a Giants loss..If this happens, I’m sure Tony Romo will suddenly be an elite quarterback in the eyes of all major analysts once again…by the by, Jersey product Miles Austin is a beast
JA’s Pick: Cowboys

Rams @ Lions
This game will most likely be looked past, but when you’ve got two teams playing each other that aren’t going to win very many…if any…games this year, you play your hearts out and squeeze out a W….I feel the Lions will do this today at home against this year’s version…of themselves….0-16 anyone?
JA’s Pick: Lions

49ers @ Colts
Alex Smith got his chance to prove he’s not a bust by nearly leading a phenomenal comeback last week, but it’s going to take more than one game to prove himself and playing the Colts on the road won’t help…Crabtree looks legit and may have another great game today, but Peyton and co. will look that much better…
JA’s Pick: Colts

Raiders @ Chargers
For the second week in a row, the Chargers get to tangle with another AFC West cellar dweller….The Raiders should start considering either a) starting a new promotion to let one lucky fan play quarterback for one game or b) having Tom Cable beat the %$#$ out of the other team before they go out on the field…Bolts roll..
JA’s Pick: Chargers

Jaguars @ Titans
Titans nation finally gets to see Vince Young lead the O and we get a solid matchup of 2 of the league’s best Running backs….Haven’t thrown it out there yet so I’m throwing up the UPSET SPECIAL!!! Titans get their first win of the season today…Kerry Collins can be found in a local Nashville bar drinking his life away..
JA’s Pick: Titans

Panthers @ Cardinals
With 3 wins in a row, Arizona is looking like they are getting back into their defending NFC Championship form and the Panthers really don’t have much of a chance in this one…Steve Smith will sadly go without another touchdown this week as Jake Delhomme goes for the all-time record for most picks thrown in a season..
JA’s Pick: Cardinals

Vikings @ Packers
Even though they have already played, today is the big day…Longtime Packer kicker Ryan Longwell returns to Lambeau!!! And some other guy named Brett Favre…. TODAY is the Favre bowl!! There will not be many more atmospheres in sports that will have the electric that Lambeau Field will have today for the return of their former son…and now bitter enemy…Oh, by the way, we’ve got a matchup of the two best teams of the NFC Central here…If Favre can come through today, I’ll be convinced that there’s nothing he CAN’T do as a player…However, I just don’t see the packers losing this one….
JA’s pick: Packers

Falcons @ Saints
Monday night’s game features the cream of the crop in the NFC South. The Falcons are a great football team, but the Saints are the BEST team in football….
JA’s Pick: Saints

Enjoy week 8…and that Halloween Candy

JA's Week 7 Picks!

Last week 8-6

Season: 62-28

Cardinals @ Giants
The G-Men secondary looked awfully vulnerable against the air show that is the Saints offense last week as they were handed their first loss of the season…The Cardinals were able to contain Matt Hasselbeck last week as they held the Seahawks to a measly 3 points….Arizona will surely try to be bombing away because their run game is atrocious….However, I feel that the Giants will not let simple mishaps happen 2 weeks in a row on the defensive side of the ball and Arizona’s D will be suspect to the passing game of Eli Manning and his main man Steve Smith…
JA’s Pick: Giants

Jets @ Raiders
The Silver and Black are going to be shooting for their second straight win after last week’s upset win over the Eagles…it got Richard Seymour so jacked that he guaranteed a playoff birth…(I think he still thinks he’s in New England) The Jets have looked like the same old Jets over the past two weeks, but I feel that there is no way in hell that Oakland, Jamarcus Russell in particular, show up with last week’s intensity. The Jets go back over .500 and Mark Sanchez actually throws the ball to his teammates instead of the other team…
JA’s Pick: Jets

Patriots @ Buccaneers
While the Bucs were neck and neck with the Panthers until they pulled away late in the fourth, the Pats dominated the helpless Titans in a winter wonderland massacre…Both teams travel to jolly ol’ England for this one…the Bucs may managed to break the goose egg, but they will still come back to the USA with 11 straight losses…Pats roll…
JA’s pick: Patriots

Colts @ Rams
The Rams have lost 16 games in a row…The 5-0 Colts and Peyton Manning are going up against the NFL’s worst defense…What do you think?
JA’s Pick: Colts

Vikings @ Steelers
Brett Favre and the undefeated Vikes head to the Steel City to match up against Ben Roethlisberger and the defending Super Bowl Champions in what is sure to be the game of the week…I told him to throw the pigskin last week and with 3 TD Passes, Favre grabbed victory from the jaws of defeat last week thanks to a missed field goal and Big Ben is looking for his 4th straight win…Both teams have solid D, but Big Ben and Brett are sure to find ways to exploit…The will be some points scored in this one and Pittsburgh gives Brett Fare his first loss of the season..Unless it comes down to Jeff Reed of course…UPSET SPECIAL
JA’s pick: Steelers

Chargers @ Chiefs
K.C finally notched up their first win of the season in the UPSET SPECIAL and the Bolts realized that they’re no longer the class of the AFC West…This will be a tight one, but the Chargers will squeak by this week with the play of Philip Rivers…
JA’s Pick: Chargers

49ers @ Texans
Who needs a running game when you have Matt Schaub? Schaub threw for almost 400 yards and 4 TDs last week as Houston took down the Bengals..However, the 49ers bounce back from their bye week with not only, the return of start running back Frank Gore, but also the debut of first-round draft pick and stud WR Michael Crabtree…Niners take this one and reclaim 1st place in the NFC West..
JA’s pick: 49ers

Packers @ Browns
A-Rodg will have a field day with the terrible Brownies’ D and the O-Line of the Packers should not be exploited by one of the worst D’s in the NFL….The Pack have a very good chance of pitching shutouts for a second straight week…
JA’s Pick: Packers

Bills @ Panthers
Buffalo was practically handed a gift-wrapped victory last week….Carolina used the running game to take down the Bucs….The Bills have the league’s worst rushing defense and the running game of the Panthers is starting to heat up…My faith in seeing a Steve Smith touchdown anytime soon is slowly losing steam…Regardless, Carolina gets back to .500
JA’s pick: Panthers

Saints @ Dolphins
New Orleans made a huge statement last week by taking down the G-Men and became the class of the NFC…Jeremy Shockey, the team’s 3rd leading WR has more receiving yards than the Dolphins leading receiver…Saints will end today as the NFC’s only undefeated team..
JA’s pick: Saints

Falcons @ Cowboys
This game will be a shootout as Matt Ryan and Tony Romo will both break out their version of the air show…At the end of the day, the Falcons are a much better team and it will show in this game…
JA’s Pick: Falcons

Bears @ Bengals
Cedric Benson didn’t quite have the big day I expected last week, but today he goes up against his former team and there’s no love lost…The NFL’s 3rd leading rusher undoubtedly wants to make a statement today and the loss of Tommie Harris will certainly not help matters…
JA’s Pick: Bengals

Eagles @ Redskins
The Eagles got embarrassed last week and the Redskins are just embarrassing….
JA’s Pick: Eagles

JA's Week 5 picks!!!

Last week:10-4

Season: 44-18

Bengals @ Ravens

HUGE game for the Bengals to prove that their 3-1 record is legit...However, today is not the day Cincy makes a statement...In Flacco we trust..

JA's Pick: Ravens

Browns @ Bills

Trent Edwards will put on an air-show today against the Braylon Edwards-less Brownies...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that T.O even has a decent day...

JA's pick: Bills

Redskins @ Panthers

Don't let the 2-2 record deceive you...As talented as this team should be, their record does them no justice...The Skins are NOT a good football team and a rejuvenated Jake Delhomme should finally lead to a good day for that OTHER Steve Smith...Panthers get their first W...

JA's pick: Panthers

Steelers @ Lions

Polamalu is still about a week away from returning to make that Steelers D scary again...Lions are going with the wily vet Daunte Culpepper...as much as I have love for Detroit Rock City, i'm going with the defending champs in this one...

JA's pick: Steelers

Cowboys @ Chiefs

Tony Romo hasn't thrown a TD in 2 weeks...playing the 0-4 Chiefs should help...Roy Williams is out, but he's basically been a non-factor since he was traded there anyway...If they can't beat K.C, i'm ready to write off big D until 2010...

JA's pick: Cowboys

Raiders @ Giants

Should Eli play? Shouldn't he? Regardless, the G-Men steamroll the Raiders and go to 5-0!

JA's pick: GGGGGGGGGGGGG-MEN

Bucs @ Eagles

The Eagles get McNabb back today and the Bucs continue to make their case for "Worst Team in the NFL"....

JA's pick: Eagles

Vikings @ Rams

Brett Farve comes out Monday Night and has a monster game...surprised? I wasn't...the guy always steps up on MNF....Don't get me wrong, i'm still waiting to see how he's playing around week 13...Vikes go to 5-0 and the D eats Kyle Boller alive...the Rams are awful

JA's pick: Vikings

Falcons @ 49ers

One of the more intriguing games of the week...as good as I think the Falcons are, their D has been very sub-par thus far...the Niners are playing as hungry as i've seen them play since the Steve Young Days...this is the game where the Niners show they're legit and Mike Singletary starts collecting votes for Coach of the Year...

JA's pick: 49ers

Texans @ Cardinals

As good as Matt Schaub has been, Steve Slaton has looked that much worse...big game for Kurt Warner because he plays like he's 38 now and Leinart is waiting in the wings...However, Warner has a thing for overcoming adversity and I see a big game from Warner, Larry Fitz and Boldin..

JA's pick: Cardinals

Patriots @ Broncos

Student vs. The teacher...Belichick vs. McDaniels...This is the fifth week in a row the Pats have played an undefeated team...Big test for Brady today will be Champ Bailey and Denver's Defensive unit which ranks second in the NFL...I'm calling an UPSET SPECIAL...Broncos go 5-0 and the New Jersey prosuct, Knowshon Moreno steps up for a big day in place of the injured Buckhalter..

JA's pick: Broncos

Jaguars @ Seahawks

The Seahawks at Matt Hasselbeck back today, but the Jags are rollin.....the 12th man is a non-factor today...T.J Houshmanzilly begins his trade demands after this one..

JA's pick: Jaguars

Colts @ Titans

The Titans are in full panic mode right now as they have already lost more games than they did all of last season....What makes matters worse is the fact that they now have to day with the best QB in football, Peyton Manning...The fans will be chanting for VY by halftime

JA's pick: Colts

Jets @ Dolphins

Sanchez and Henne's 5 combined starts make them tied for the least experienced duo to ever start a MNF game...The fins have the league's best rushing attack and as good as the Jets' D has looked...it may be too much for them to handle....The Jets will have a solid season, but the glass slipper is starting to fall off...

JA's Pick: Dolphins

JA's Week 3 NFL Predictions!!!

Just like that it is already week 3 of the NFL Football Season...We've already seen some big names fall victim to the injury bug and we've already seen some surprises like the 2-0 Denver Broncos...we've also seen some non-surprises like the 0-2 Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions...
Last week was a rough one going 9-7...it could have been 10-6 if the Dolphins knew how to run a proper 2 minute drill...but enough with the negativity...let's get to the picks!
Last week: 9-7
Overall: 22-10
Browns @ Ravens
The Ravens' D, despite leading the league in rush defense, has given up 50 points so far this year...very unlike the Ravens' D of the past...even more unlikely is how the Ravens have already put up 69 points in their first 2 games..Joe Flacco is looking more legit by the week and the Brownies are looking more like the second coming of the 2008 Detroit Lions..
JA's pick: Ravens
Titans @ Jets
Gang Green is definitely drinking Rex Ryan's Kool-Aid as this team is looking more and more like the real deal. The Jets have defied my opinion the last two weeks as they have yet to allow an offensive TD...on the other end of the spectrum, the Titans are staring 0-3 in the mirror and are sure to bring their A-Game...VERY intrigued to see Chris Johnson go up against the Jets D after destroying the Texans last week....I don't see this game being as tough for the Jets as last week...I know Jimbo will hate me for this, but for the first time all year..i'm going Gang Green!
JA's pick: Jets
Redskins @ Lions
The Skins looked UGLY barely beating the Rams last week...Stafford hasn't looked all that impressive thus far, but I feel that this is the week that we finally see it...A LIONS VICTORY!!
JA's pick: Lions
Jaguars @ Texans
The Texans' offense finally woke up last week...and that's bad news for the Jags...who will start out 0-3 for the first time in 6 years....
JA's pick: Texans
49ers @ Vikings
Minnesota fans finally get a look at their new "savior" in week 3 (even though that "savior" hasn't thrown a complete pass for more than 15 yards)...the Niners have surprised many with their 2-0 start, but they are by no means ready to start making noise in the NFC (even though they will take a step in the right direction this season)...The Vikes will go 3-0 and they will begin building Brett's statue in downtown Minnesota...However, Vikes fans shouldn't get TOO excited just yet...you've only beaten the Browns, Lions and Niners....
JA's pick: Vikings
Falcons @ Patriots
Matt Ryan is on his way to becoming an elite NFL QB...Sunday he gets his chance to compete against one of the best the NFL has to offer in Tom Brady...The Pats are coming off a crushing loss at the Meadowlands and will be hungry...The Falcons are sitting pretty at 2-0 behind the strong play of Ryan and the re-emergence of Tony Gonzalez...Can the Falcons pick apart the young Pats D? If the Patriots prevail, it shows me that they are still one of the teams to beat in the AFC...However, I feel this is the game Matt Ryan tells the NFL world that he and the Falcons are a force to be reckoned with....back to the drawing board Billy boy!
JA's Pick: Falcons
Giants @ Buccaneers
The G-Men are coming off a comeback win against their biggest rival....their WR unit is showing an identity and their running game is sure to show up against a lousy Bucs D...However, Tuck will be sitting this game out and Kenny Phillips is lost for the year...Although it's a slight disadvantage, it will not be seen until about week 6 or so.....G-Men go 3-0 here..
JA's pick: Giants
Chiefs @ Eagles
Kevin Kolb may be the 4th best QB on the Eagles' depth chart, but he will get the nod as McNabb will surely be out again...In a side note, Vick is eligible to play his first NFL Regular Season game in nearly 3 years! How will he do? My guess is about 8-10 plays, the Wildcat and 1 big play whether it be a big run or a TD pass... The Eagles should be able to handle the Chiefs, but it boggles my mind why they signed Jeff Garcia to ride the bench...
JA's pick: Eagles
Packers @ Rams
The Rams go into this game trying to avoid a franchise-record 13th straight loss...they won't do it against the Pack..
JA's pick: Packers
Saints @ Bills
A matchup of 2 of the NFL's most surprising offensive units this season...The Bills have been putting up some points...but what's more impressive? Averaging 46.5 points a game or scoring 33 against the Buccaneers? Drew Brees is playing like he wants a MVP trophy and this game will be another statement towards his case....Maybe T.O doesn't let a ball go through through his arms in this one..
JA's pick: Saints
Bears @ Seahawks
The Bears are coming off a win against the defending Super Bowl Champions..Matt Forte has onyl rushed for 84 yards this year but is going up against the league's 26th best rushing D...The Seahawks will most likely be sending out Seneca Wallace to take the snaps for injured Matt Hasselbeck...The 12th man doesn't come through in this one..
JA's pick: Bears
Steelers @ Bengals
Since when does Cedric Benson actually have a good game? As entertaining as Ochocinco's Lambeau leap was last week....the Steelers won't be coming to Cincy for fun and games...but to avenge last week's brutal loss to the Bears...Their plan? To be up by more than 3 when the game hits the 4th quarter...
JA's pick: Steelers
Dolphins @ Chargers
How does a team lose when they have the ball for 45 min of a football game? They have not played like an 0-2 team, but they face the possibility of going 0-3...They have beaten the injury-riddled Chargers in the last 6 matchups...Although stopping their run shouldn't be a problem, the Fins will have a tough time stopping Phillip Rivers who is sure to put on another air show....
JA's pick: Chargers
Broncos @ Raiders
Despite pulling out a victory last week, JaMarcus Russell couldn't have looked much worse than he did. If he can step it up and play like he did against San Diego, Oakland should be able to pull it out..The only thing is, he won't and Denver is somehow going to be 3-0 at the end of the day...
JA's pick: Broncos
Colts @ Cardinals
Both of these teams have looked awfully vulnerable going into this one...The Cardinals kicked off the defense of heir NFC Championship by losing to the Niners at Home and the Colts have had two very shady victories against the Jags and Fins....Both of these teams, however, have momentum coming in...With that being said, i'm going with the Cards in front of their home crowd...Peyton will most likely have the ball for more than 15 min...but week 3 will show how vulnerable this team really is....
JA's pick: Cardinals
Panthers @ Cowboys
One struggling quarterback against another...both of these teams could use the W...it's just a matter of who's going to want it more...I thought last week was Carolina's week to rebound, but I was wrong....The Cowboys will rebound after last week's crushing loss and this week will officially mark the beginning of the end for Jake Delhomme and Head Coach John Fox
JA's Pick: Cowboys
There you have it....Thoughts? Opinions?

JA's NFL Week 1 Predictions

So football season has finally come upon us and kickoff is a mere few hours away…With all of that mumbo jumbo out of the way..I am here with my predictions for week 1…

Tennessee @ Pittsburgh
How appropriate that we kick off the season at the home of the defending Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers…Quite frankly, I don’t know how much Kerry Collins has left in the tank and we all know that the self-proclaimed “Future Hall of Famer” Vince Young is waiting in the wings…Their D took a hit losing Haynesworth, but it won’t matter all that much tonight because it’s gonna be hard for them to see what’s going on with the shine from those SB rings in their eyes…Those terrible towels will be waving proudly tonight

JA’s pick= Steelers

Miami @ Atlanta
The Cinderella story is over for the Fins and the Falcons pick up an important win here before they battle Carolina and New England

JA’s pick= Falcons

Dallas @ Tampa Bay
This is going to be the beginning of a long season for Tampa Bay…losing Jeff Garcia and gaining a Byron Leftwich isn’t exactly upgrading your QB position…not to mention a fresh out of middle school QB in Josh Freeman…Big D gets an easy win here and proclaim themselves SB Champs until the Giants take them out in Week 2…

JA’s pick= Cowboys

Detroit @ New Orleans
Welcome to the NFL Matthew Stafford! Allow Drew Brees to show you what a REAL NFL offense looks like..because your defense is going to find out the hard way…

JA’s pick= Saints
Jacksonville @ Indianapolis
The health of Jags stud Maurice Jones-Drew is in question…not to mention the Jaguars are going up against a 275lb QB…with a laser rocket arm…

JA’s pick= Colts

Jets/Texans
The Mark Sanchez era begins for Gang Green…Unfortunately for him, the Texans seem poised to have a breakout year…Consider this Sunday orientation Jet fans because Marky Mark is gonna take some hits…perhaps he can take some notes on Kellen Clemens’ clipboard…he’ll get his share of W’s this year..Just not on Sunday

JA’S pick= Texans

Minnesota @ Cleveland
This matchup pits one pathetic man and former battery mates against another: Brett Favre vs. Eric Mangini...Despite Brett being a bit over concerned with the way he was treated by the Jets these days, he should at least find a way to notch the W in his 4th comeback to the NFL…I don’t know what’s more pathetic Mr. Mangenius , your ability to hide your starting QB or the ability of the Cleveland Browns to produce a winning team?

JA’s pick= Vikings

Kansas City @ Baltimore
If Matt Cassel is out for an extended period of time it’s going to be a rough year for KC…The Ravens D has a field day…

JA’s pick= Ravens

Philly @ Carolina
We get our first look at would could very well be one of the more prolific offenses Philly has ever had…This will be a close one...But Philly makes a statement here

JA’s pick= Eagles

Denver @ Cincinnati
Kyle Orton drinks another bottle of JD before the game to numb his injured finger and Ochocinco breaks out one of the best end zone celebrations you will ever see…

JA’s pick= Bengals

Washington @ New York
Aaron Ross is hurt..but Jason Campbell isn’t good enough to exploit that…Brandon Jacobs shows Albert Haynesworth just how big of a man he really is by leaving a cleat mark on his chest

JA’s pick= Giants

San Francisco @ Arizona
Remember the time Michael Crabtree signs a contract at halftime and shows up to catch a game winner? Yea, me neither..I got the defending NFC Champs in this one

JA’s pick= Cardinals

St. Louis @ Seattle
Mark Bulger gets injured running out onto the field and..NOTCH IT UP…a TD from T.J Houshmanzilly..put it on the board…

JA’s pick = Seahawks

Chicago @ Green Bay
The Packers D looks awfully good this year and Aaron Rodgers is out to make sure that by the end of the year…the Lambeau faithful are saying Brett who?

JA’s pick= Packers

Buffalo @ New England
Tom Brady is back…get your popcorn ready T.O….it’s gonna be a long night

JA’s pick= Patriots

San Diego @ Oakland
In the other Monday night game, SD will show why they are the class of the AFC West…and somewhere Jeff Garcia will be at a Buffalo Wild Wings watching this game laughing his ass off that they went with the fat, lazy, overrated bust they call JaMarcus Russell….McFadden will be the bright spot on a lousy team

JA's pick= Chargers

There you have it ladies and gentlemen…
Thoughts? Opinions?
